My Week In Pictures

I am so in love with these delicious pretzel chips, and this yummy garlic/herb spreadable creamy cheese. Perfect snack, yes! Horrible breath, absolutely!
Scored two great finds at my local Goodwill. A very cute dress (perfect for a pair of leggins in the fall) and a cashmere sweater! I might have had a thing for the color Gray that day.
I am loving my ever-growing collection of huge rings. They are totally fun and perfect to add a bit of fun to any outfit.
I love the fact that my guinea pig loves to snuggle in my laundry. I had him with me as I was getting the laundry together for washing and he fell in love with this warm towel- snuggled right on in and proceeded to take a nap. Not enough words can tell you how much he makes me smile!
Yoga Pants: TJ Maxx, Yellow Shirt: Old Navy, Top: C9 via Target
How fun is it to not only change your normal wardrobe but your gym clothes too. Fall is right around the corner and simply going to the gym in the evening when it's chilly proves that maybe another layer is needed.

A Few Pretty Things

 Instagram
My jewelry has become quite a mess. I really need a better way to organize my items. I think this calls for an overhaul before fall. What better time to organize and clean up than seasonal changes.

For me, organization comes in two parts - easy access & simple storage solution (maybe something from Anthro or World Market. I tend to grab great pieces that really stand out to me - something unique or something classic. I have a ton of great items that go with a ton of outfits for different occassions but honestly, I don't wear them all. Time for some "fall" cleaning. Time to either recycle them into another piece of jewelry or simply wave goodbye and let someone else enjoy them like I have.

Polka Dotted

Sweater: Old Navy; Jeans: American Eagle; Rings: Target
Can I tell you how quickly I fell in love with this Old Navy Polka-Dot sweater? It took literally a nano-second to realize that I wanted this cute little number for my fall wardrobe. Hello, what is not to love about something so classic that can be worn fall, winter and even into spring...and maybe summer (on a rainy day). Timeless, Classic and can be worn all year. Investment-worthy? I dare think so. But for a hefty price? Not even! $24 retail right now and she can be yours too!

Sweater: Old Navy; Skirt: Old Navy; Watch: Kohl's; Rings: Target
What I love the most about this sweater, is that it pairs well with any color really! I paired it with this Old Navy Mustard Cord Penci Skirt (purchased same day as sweater). What a great fall look! I had to go into the office this week and grab some supplies, so I wore this in (considering it was raining and cold that day). Overall a wise purchase and this will add another great staple to my sweater collection.

Transitioning

The past few weeks since returning from vacation have been a rollercoaster of crazy in my life - both personal and professional. After my co-worker leaving the company and the responsibility of the workload solely placed on me, it has been a very overwhelming, high-demanding and high-stressful time for the professional part of my life. However, that changed last week - in addition to the company hiring a replacement for my co-worker- I am now in a new office location!

My full-time job allowed me to transition to working from home full-time. I really am grateful for this opportunity to do what a lot of others in my company have been able to do. I am the first one in my area to go home- it is an exciting time. As gas prices go up as well as the tolls we have to pay in my area to commute, I am thankful that I no longer have to worry about those as much as before - and I am sure my car is thrilled to be able to take a break from the hustle-n-bustle of the daily commute. I really am thankful!

This means that now I can spend time working on more DIY projects and getting things a lot more organized around here for fall. I am excited to be able to share some of my amazing projects and things with you guys in the upcoming months. Stay Tuned!
